What Marine Sentinel is

Marine Sentinel is a maritime intelligence system: it watches environmental state, atmospheric pressure, vessel behaviour, and pollution events, with provenance and a human decision rule. Singapore and the Straits are the first operating picture inside a broader equatorial Maritime Southeast Asia envelope. Blue Economy / littoral evidence lives on its own page — catchment to coast to adjacent sea.

The map boundary is not the intelligence boundary. The jurisdiction boundary is not the ecological boundary. The dataset boundary is not the evidence boundary. Evidence can connect land → catchment → river → estuary → coast → strait → open ocean across Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

The ±4° latitude band does not cover all of Malaysia or Indonesia.
